We’ve updated with tons of  stuff like our Rock n’ Bowl-a-th0n results and a Bobbie Linkhorn’s amazing story about her struggle with addiction and how she overcame it.

We would also like to mention our Susan B Anthony Recovery Center Auxiliary. Our Bowl-a-thon was a great success thanks to all their help! If you were able to take home one of they’re amazing baskets, you know what we’re talking about! From “I Love My Mommy Day” to making over 250 welcome baskets to help ease the tension for transitioning mothers, these ladies (and men) are definitely one of our key moving factors. The Auxiliary is always looking for volunteers and members for help and we gladly appreciate any help. If  you would like more info about them check them out here.

Bowl-a-thon Success!

We were so happy to see so many smiling faces and families at our Rock n’ Bowl-a-thon! You can see them for yourself too on our Facebook Fan Page! All the photos have been uploaded there!

Tomorrow!

We’re so ready for our Rock-n-Bowl-a-thon tomorrow and we’re extremely excited to see all our friends and colleges there!

We also got a hold of some of the prize list for the raffles and Silent Auctions and they’re awesome! One of the coolest prizes is the Firefighter for a Day program.

Thanks to the great (and brave) men and women of the Broward County Sheriff’s office for giving us such an amazing program to help our benefit. The program allows you to be a hero for a day and take a few tours and see how these men and women get things done on a day to day basis, have a photo op and lunch in a firehouse! Cool huh?

There will also be sports and pop art memorabilia and tons of different baskets for you to win and bid on while you’re not having a blast bowling of course.

See you guys tomorrow! Don’t forget your socks and comfy clothes!

Getting Back On Your Feet …

Always seems to be the hardest part of moving forward, but once you get the ball rolling things become easier.We’ve discovered that having a positive outlook on things that happen (controllable and uncontrollable) help things run a bit more smoothly.
